Is your head a little chilled? Otto hats to the rescue. Yes, sniffles, it’s Kika time!

Celebrity Knitter Kika Schoenfeld spent the summer knitting her elegant little fingers down to nubs creating the 2011 edition of Otto hats, in wool, Alpaca and cashmere, with fabulous Finnish fox and American mink pompoms. Each outrageous Otto is hand made and unique. Just like you, my dear. The sizing may be a tad abitraire, as they say uptown, so you really need to come into the gallery to try them on. And believe Bloss when we say you will not leave empty-headed. Well, not empty on top, we mean. Oh, never mind.

Iconic Eames lounge makeover x 2. In the Times today

Once again on the cutting edge of so much, really, Moss, with pal Maharam, shows you how to make the perfect even better. It’s all explained here in a piece in the Times today. Click the ottoman to read.

Glow, swipe and vibrate. Oh, honey.

That’s the Mutewatch catchy catch-phrase. If only we all could do those things, the world would be a better place. However, what they are referring to is how you use your Mutewatch. Tap for the time to glow (look below), and if you swipe the surface, something else fabulous happens, and vibrate, well, you can just imagine. Bloss told you red was coming and here it is.

Hey sweetheart, ring me.

Did you see the piece in the Times today about cameos? Apparently, they’re all the hipster rage. Well, we got our own cameos. Sweetheart Rings by Susanne Klemm, Dutch artist and jewelry maker. These are part of her “Red Light” collection, which, continuing our popular prostitute theme, was created when her studio was in the red light district of Amsterdam. We do not make these things up. Here a couple more.

The long awaited MUTEWATCH is finally here. Shhhhhhhh

It’s the watch that doesn’t say it’s a watch. In fact, it doesn’t say much of anything. It just there–looking great on your wrist. But for those literalists amongst us who simply must have their watch do something watch-like, the Mutewatch will graciously elegantly accommodate. See? There’s the time. Click to buy.

More colors coming soon. Red next week.

Never wear gold until after Labor Day, especially on your face.

It’s gorgeously bleak today and it’s supposed to rain all week. Yay! Summer’s over, thank god. What better time to step out wearing a unique hand plated pair of vintage sunglasses? Bloss lives to serve. As you know. One of a kind. Just like you.

The Daily New: Clockwork Love “Burning” Necklace by Frank Tjepkema

Frank Tjepkema’s Clockwork Love project builds on his 2002 Bling Bling necklace, which was constructed of many thin layers of overlapping logos assembled in the shape of a cross. Clockwork Love comprises six different necklaces, each of which is composed of a multitude of different graphics etched from thin layers of steel. Larger symbolic references overlap layers of frozen mechanical arrangements meant to represent the inner workings of clocks and watches.
